Digital Heritage Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary company of K.K.I.P. Communication Sdn Bhd, was bequeathed the ‘SITIEA IT Solution Award
and Chief Minister’s Challenge Trophy for IMM114 Solution’ at Shangri-La Tanjung Aru Resort, Kota Kinabalu.
The prestigious event was jointly organized by State Information Technology Advancement Unit (KIT), Sabah Computer Society
(SCS), Malaysian Administrative Modernisation & Management Planning Unit (MAMPU Sabah Branch), Malaysia Communications &
Multimedia Commission (MCMC), State Computer Services Department (JPKN), and Department of Information Malaysia Sabah.

Jointly organised by the State IT Advancement Unit (KIT), State Computer Services Department (JPKN)
and KKIP Communication (KKIPCom), the third and final of three Technology Workshop was held from 11 - 12
September 2006, at Sheraton Hotel Labuan.
This workshop aimed at negotiating and fine-tuning proposals submitted by KKIPCom. Result was
a finalised proposal to be presented to the state government.

Jointly organised by the State IT Advancement Unit (KIT), State Computer Services Department (JPKN) and KKIP Communication (KKIPCom),
the second of three Technology Workshop was held from 24th - 25th August 2006, at Kudat Golf and Marina Resort. The summary finding of workshop 1
served as the main input. The result of workshop 2 was the formation of action plans by the respective actors, which included policies, strategies,
timeframe and technologies. This also serve as the inputs for budget preparation over the next five years.
Workshop 2 participants were the five selected CIOs (from Workshop 1), MoF, AG, UPEN, KPSKTM, JPKN, KIT and KKIPCom.

Jointly organised by the State IT Advancement Unit (KIT), State Computer Services Department (JPKN) and KKIP Communication (KKIPCom),
the first of three Technology Workshop was held from 3rd - 4th August 2006, at Magellan Sutera Resort. The two days workshop involved the State Secretary (SKN), JPKN, KIT,
KKIPCom and the 11 Ministries to present the overall direction of each ministry's ICT Planning, which must be aligned to the state's Halatuju, the Ninth Malaysia Plan (9MP)
and Vision 2020. The workshop also appointed five CIOs to participate in Workshop 2.

adults and children. The articles will be published every Thursday in the Cybertech Column. The sequence will be

called IT Link. The main objective of this Join Effort Program is to increase Public Awareness on benefits of
Information and Communications Technology.
The Program is extended to all age group with brain teasing Quizzes at
the end of it. Cash Prizes for the winners are contributed by KKIP Communications Sdn Bhd. Furthermore, weekly profile of the
winners will be published in the website. So tune in on every Sunday to IT Link at 8:35am.

will be taking part in the Sutera Harbour 7Km Charity Run this Saturday 15th July 2006. KKIPCom is also the consultant
and adviser to the Sabah State Government for the E-Government application - Sabah.Net as a part of the IT Master Plan
initiative.

The first one will be held at Informatics, Kota Kinabalu from 2nd-3rd August 2005. It is designed
with the aim of creating a general understanding and awareness towards information security among the general public.
This 2 days course is designed for anyone that has basic fundamentals of Information Technology (IT) and it is interesting
to learn more about information security.
KKIPC will also be organizing another seminar on Information Security Management Systems (ISMS)
on the 18th to 19th August 2005 as part of the IT Security Awareness Training series.

Implementation and Deployment of the MyKad Entry System - a secured and smart card solution;
at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) displaces the need for the manual completion,
verification and processing of IMM114 Form by Malaysians entering Sabah from the Peninsula.
Phase 2 of the MyKad project will be carried out in Sandakan, Tawau, and Sindumin
in the next three months.
